Blitar Kota Pelajar

Blitar memang Kota kecil, bukan sebuah penghalang untuk menjadikan Blitar sebagai sebuah Kota Pelajar. Predikat Kota Pelajar sudah dimiliki oleh DIY Yogyakarta, namun tidak menutup kesempatan Blitar sebagai kota kedua. Menurut beberapa sumber referensi konon Kota Jogya menjadi kota pelajar karena banyaknya universitas dan sekolah yang didirikan di daerah Jogyakarta.

Semua syarat untuk menjadikan Blitar sebagai kota Pelajar sudah mencukupi, apakah syarat itu? diantaranya sebagai berikut :
1. Jumlah sekolah di Kota Blitar sudah mencukupi untuk sebuah perkembangan pendidikan
2. Terdapat Perpustakaan Nasional Bung Karno
3. Blitar dalam sejarah adalah Kota Peta, yakni Kota dimana Jepang memberikan pendidikan kepada pemuda tentang kemilitieran
4. Blitar tempat lahirnya tokoh-tokoh nasional seperti Bung Karno dan lain-lain

Secara fisik arah untuk mewujudkan Blitar sebagai Kota Pelajar sudah tersedia, tinggal budaya budaya edukatif untuk menumbuh semangatkan budaya pelajar. semoga impian ini bisa terwujud
